Funfest for Air-Cooled VWs

Calling all VW enthusiasts! Mark your calendars for this June 20 - 21 to celebrate all things Volkswagen at Mid America Motorworks' VW Funfest! Join thousands of VW lovers from across the country at one of the largest Volkswagen gatherings in the U.S.!

Held annually at the Mid America Motorworks campus, VW Funfest is a multi-day celebration with hundreds of Beetles, Buses, Dune Buggies, Ghias and more on display. Activities include scenic road tours, a swap meet, vendor village, technical seminars, food trucks, and family-friendly activities. It’s the ultimate VW weekend experience in the heart of Illinois!

Campers can begin arriving Thursday, June 19, to set up for the weekend. The activities kick off on Friday June 20 with the Fun Run departing from Mid America Motorworks in the afternoon. Saturday will be packed with activities, a swap meet, awards, expert seminars, and tasty food and drinks. After the show, everyone is invited to head downtown to explore local attractions and restaurants, followed by an outdoor screening of Herbie: Fully Loaded at 8:30 p.m. on the Courthouse Lawn with the community! It's the perfect weekend outing for families and gear-heads alike.
