The Goddard Place, hidden among the wooded hills of scenic Southern Illinois and the Shawnee National Forest is a quiet peaceful change of pace. Guests can relax on the back deck overlooking the small lake just a stone's throw away.
A log cabin with hot tub and gas log fireplace. The cabin is an open layout in one room, with exception of the bath. There is a cozy queen sleigh bed. The living area features a new queen sleeper sofa, a rocker recliner and satellite TV and DVD player, all making for a cozy setting for a couple or a small family. There is a kitchenette with a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker along with all dishware and utensils. You can bring along some charcoal and fire up the Weber BBQ and enjoy a meal on the deck or on the picnic table under the pines.
