In addition to the McHenry County Fair, come out the the fairgrounds for events such as the Woodstock Farmers Winter Market, Car & Motorcycle Swap Meets and Shows, KTM Racing, Gun Shows and much more!!!
The McHenry County Fairgrounds is privately owned and funded by the McHenry County Fair Association, a nonprofit group that consists of 22 Board of Directors and over one hundred members who work hard year round for the success of not only the week long fair but for other events that take place throughout the year, like the annual Spring Fiber Fling and The Holiday Faire. Come to Woodstock, Illinois to enjoy family friendly events hosted by McHenry County Fair Association. The fairgrounds reopened in 1949 and have been entertaining the community ever since. The County Fair takes place for 5 days every year in the first week of August. If you have an event you would like to hold at our facilities, contact the office for rental information.
