Plein Air is a week-long celebration of the arts as artists will paint at their easels at locations throughout St. Charles.
Come out for a week of art with Plein Air - hosted through the St. Charles Arts Council. The event will take place on August 18th-24th and feature artists painting at their easels located throughout St. Charles and the surrounding areas all week. There will also be events each day such as an outdoor creative writing contest, artist meet and greats, and art activities for kids.
The event will culminate with a Grand Reveal Party on Saturday and Sunday, where over 150 original paintings that were created during the week will be featured in a gallery for people to purchase the paintings. Tickets are available for the Grand Reveal Party on Saturday and open to the public for free on Sunday.
