Rails to Victory Living History Reenactment at the Fox River Trolley Museum

Sat, Jun 07 – Sun, Jun 08, 2025 • 10:30am - 5:00pm

365 S La Fox St., South Elgin, IL 60177

This WWII Living History Reenactment and Encampment is once again being hosted by the Fox River Trolley Museum and the WWII Historical Re-enacting Society.

Join us for a theatrical experience where passengers are transported back in time when America was at war alongside our Allies to defeat the tyranny of the Axis Powers.

View and experience small performance stops along the trolley’s route, recreating a variety of scenarios that played out during the European Theater of World War II. Be prepared to play along with the actors to fully enjoy the experience. This performance is family friendly; however, it is not recommended for very young children who may be upset by load noises, theatrical gun fire, and battle reenacting

There will be two Adventure Trolley rides each day. Each trolley ride includes a tour of the camp and a ride to the battle re-enactments. The combined adventure takes two to three hours.

Adventures will start at the following times:

Saturday, June 7: 10:30am and 2:30pm
Sunday, June 8: 9:30am and 1:30pm
The adventure will take 2-3 hours in total.

Tickets are $24 per person. Please note that all passengers, regardless of age or size, must have their own tickets.
