Visit the Scovil Bakery to experience a baker's lifestyle before the days of electric and gas ovens.

See the baking equipment of the 1840s, original Temple Plates, and many other items used for baking during the Nauvoo period. The Scovil Bakery was one of several such establishments in Nauvoo in the 1840's.
