Get ready to celebrate summer at Batavia’s Windmill City Festival, happening July 11-13 along the scenic Riverwalk! This free, family-friendly event, organized by the Batavia Park District and the City of Batavia, offers three days packed with live music, delicious food from local food trucks, a lively beer garden, and a weekend carnival on Houston Street.
Festival highlights include performances from top tribute bands such as The Fortunate Sons, Libido Funk Circus, and Totally Taylor. Unique competitions add to the fun, with a Pet Competition, a Diaper Derby for babies, and a Sidewalk Chalk Contest for creative kids and adults. Families can also enjoy a golf challenge, a craft fair featuring local artisans, and special exhibits at the Depot Museum. Need a break? Visit the Soothe Space Tent, a sensory-friendly area for relaxation.
