DuSable Museum of African American History celebrates Black culture, history, and achievements through engaging exhibits, educational programs, and community events in Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood.
Celebrating 64 years of sharing history, The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center is the nation's first independent museum dedicated to the collection, preservation and study of the history and culture of Africans and Americans of African descent. Exhibits, concerts, films, children's events and literary discussions are just a few of the institution's various programs offered.
Hours: Tuesday - Sunday 10am- 5pm; Monday Closed
