Romance is King at the Castle! Celebrate spring and explore this romantic dream castle filled with thousands of interesting antiques, artworks, and historical objects!
It is on a wooded hilltop in Savanna, Illinois, next to the mighty Mississippi and close to historic Galena, Illinois.
Opening May 3, Saturdays and Sundays only, 10 AM—5 PM. The last self-guided tour is admitted at 4 PM. With your ticket, you can either use the free audio app with the owner narrating it or follow the clear signage.
Tickets online or at the door. VIP tours with the owner are also available. The castle is not handicap-accessible, nor advised for persons with limited mobility. Stairs and steep inclines are involved. The 2nd floor is only recommended for hardy souls. There are no elevators.
