Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation is dedicated to protecting and stewarding the natural landscapes, waterways, and wildlife habitats of Jo Daviess County. Managing numerous land and water preserve properties throughout the region, the foundation offers visitors and residents access to scenic hiking trails, preserved prairies, forests, wetlands, and river corridors. These protected spaces provide opportunities for outdoor recreation, environmental education, and a deeper connection to Galena Country’s natural beauty.
“Every property feels special in its own way. I love hiking the different preserves, each one offers something unique, and it’s amazing to know these places are being protected for future generations.” - Brad L.
