Step back in time during the Olde English Faire at Stronghold, Oct. 3–4, 2026, at Stronghold Camp & Retreat Center in Oregon, Illinois.
Set against the storybook backdrop of Stronghold Castle and its wooded grounds overlooking the Rock River, this family-friendly fall tradition brings a lively medieval world to life. Spend the day enjoying live performances, artisan vendors and handmade wares, food trucks, dancing, castle tours, and colorful characters, including Vikings, royalty, horses, and jesters.
The Faire is open from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with last admission at 4 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12, and free for children under 5.
Come in costume or simply come ready for a day of merriment, food and old-fashioned fun at one of Oregon’s most distinctive fall traditions.
