Cross the bridge next to the bike park to visit this unique island park with a Lincoln-Era Log Cabin Village.

This 130 acre site is home to a small village of log cabins dating back to the Lincoln-Era. The Friends of the Log Cabin Village open the cabins a few times a year for different festivals and events.

The site also includes white egret nesting and eagle spotting as well as a monument to the encampment site of the Potawatomi in October 1838.
