The Cottage at Rendleman Orchards offers a one-of-a-kind stay where simplicity meets authenticity, and the values of family farming surrounds you; hard work, honesty, self-reliance, and respect for the land; are alive and well.

Originally built in the early 1900s and mostly for farmhands, this charming two-bedroom cottage sits beside one of the orchard ponds, with views of rolling fruit trees, open skies, and chickens clucking about. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and you’re invited to reconnect—to nature, to the land, and to yourself.

Guests should know: This is no modern hotel, it’s a true historic farm stay, and with that comes all the quirks and character of a small rural home that’s stood for over a century. While the cottage has been thoughtfully renovated with modern amenities like heat and air split units, a kitchen fully outfitted, and Wi-Fi, history still likes to leave its mark. Modest spaces, and touches of vintage charm may pop in to say hello. If you appreciate the soul of old places and the stories they hold, you’ll feel right at home.

Enjoy the Farm Grounds and admire orchard views, see the history of old weather worn barns dotting the landscapes, take a stroll through the summer and fall flower fields while in bloom, do a little fishing or hiking on the farm.

Visit the Farm Market. The Farm Market is open late June through October 31. Shop seasonal produce like juicy peaches, nectarines, crisp apples, as well as apple butters, baking mixes and other farm delights.

Cut Your Own Flowers. In the warmer months, guests are invited to enjoy the U-Pick flower fields, where you can cut your own fresh bouquet straight from the field.

Collect Eggs. Visit your own personal on-site chicken coop and gather your own fresh eggs each morning.
Enjoy Pondside Peace. Sip coffee on the porch swing overlooking the pond or throw a line in and see what bites.

Golf Cart Exploring. As an add on, you may choose to take a cruise on the four-seater golf cart add-on to explore the farm grounds and discover serene photo spots along the way or quiet places to watch the sunset.

Evenings relaxing by the Fire. Wind down around the fire pit under the stars. Clear country skies and a provided telescope make this a stargazer’s dream.
